Every year people make resolutions for the new year, mine was to start...and finish ...a 365 photo project.
I will take a picture every day, and post them here. It took me a while to get my site up and running, so
this is the pictures that I have taken so far this year. I started on January 11, 2010. Like most of the

Today was about photographing what I learned to shoot on...It is my grandfathers old Yashika with a 52mm, 135mm, and 28mm. It still works and
takes great pictures ...I will have to take some project shots on it.

A Saturday Away: January 18, 2010
I needed a day off today, the robotics season is in full swing and I needed to get away, out in the woods, for some time off.
If you checked out my bio you would see that I have my education background in Forestry. While I am happy with my current job,
I do need to get away from computers every now and then ...excellent photography time.
I was worried that the fog in the morning would be too thick to see anything in, but it lifted just as I got to
Ferne Clyffe State Park. If you have never
been to southern Illinois...make the trip. We have great parks and trails.

FIRST Robotics: January 13, 2010
Along with my job and photography, I am also a mentor for a
FIRST Robotics team.
FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is an international
robotics program for students ranging from elementary school through high school. Our school is part of the top tier robotics program.
We have 6 weeks from Jan 9th to design, build, test and ship a robot, that needs to play a game similar to soccer.
